Why did Hindus gave away their girls to Muslims during Muslim rule in India

From the very beginning Muslim men were attracted to Hindu women.

Later the Hindus came to know that Muslims have developed a liking for Hindu ladies. Some Hindu kings even took this as an advantage, they thought that Hindu woman is a weakness for Muslims. They offered Hindu women to Muslims in order to persuade them.

When Muslims used to win the battles and rightfully occupy their territory Hindu kings used to give their women to Muslims to please them and to stay away from prison. Many Muslim kings rewarded  Hindu kings for this, some were given high positions in Muslim administration and military some were returned back the territory they had lost. There were some Hindus in Muslim administration and high posts in military. For example Raja Man Singh was a trusted general of Mughal emperor Akbar.

Wars was common in olden times, Hindu kingdoms used to fight and kill each other all the times but the muslims are often accused for everything by the hindutva brigade. The truth is that Hindus themselves married off their daughters to Muslims. The Muslims were more powerful and its was a common thing in the past, the victor gets everything.

Many Hindu kings also gave away their daughters to Muslims because they were afraid of being defeated by mighty Muslims. The famous example of this is Jodha Bai, her Rajput father gave her to mughal king Akbar.
Firuz Shah of Bahmani Sultanate defeated Devaraya I of Vijayanagar who gave his daughter to the muslim man for marriage along with large sum of money.
When Sultan Muhammad Shah of Gujarat (1441-1451) attacked the Raja of Idar, the Rai offered his submission and sent his daughter to the Sultan. The Sultan was fascinated with her beauty.
Kasim Barid (1492-1504), the founder of Barid Shahi Dynasty of Bidar, defeated the Maratha chief Sabaji Maratha and married the daughter of Sabaji.

Many other Hindu kings in order to stop the Muslim invasion and possibility of defeat gave their beautiful daughters and women to Muslims. The Muslims accepted this with great joy.
Matrimonial alliance between Hindu girls and Muslims were common in those days.
